Hot Opening: Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago

By Staff -- Hotels, 3/12/2008 9:48:00 AM

Trump International Hotel & Tower Chicago, located in the heart of the city along the Chicago River, comprises floors 14 through 27 of a 92-story residential tower in development by the Trump Organization. The hotel features 339 luxuriously appointed guestrooms, including one-, two- and three-bedroom suites. Designed by noted architectural firm of Skidmore, Owings & Merrill, with interiors by McGinley Design, Trump is a stunning addition to Chicago’s distinguished skyline.

In tune with the hotel’s eponymous decade-old sibling in New York City, the Chicago hotel features top-of-the-line appointments, unrivaled service and the personal attention provided of a Trump attaché. The hotel’s unparalleled amenities are highlighted by The Spa at Trump (including dedicated spa guestrooms), elegant conference and private event space, a full-service health club, sophisticated lounge and a restaurant among the best Chicago has to offer.

Upon arrival, guests are given the utmost attention, beginning with assistance from the hotel’s 24-hour, white-glove door attendants, or, as elected by the guests, their Trump attaché. Spacious guest quarters feature 10-foot floor-to-ceiling windows, affording breathtaking views of Lake Michigan, the Chicago River and the city skyline.

Contemporary custom furniture graces the living areas, and bedrooms include deluxe Stearns & Foster pillow-top mattresses and 500 thread-count linens from Bellino. Fully-equipped kitchens feature Italian wood cabinetry by Snaidero and stainless steel appliances, including a microwave and a dishwasher and cook top by Miele. The Sub-Zero refrigerators also serve as mini-bars. The limestone, five-fixture bathroom features custom vanities, separate stall showers, deep soaking tubs, in-mirror television portals and premium fixtures. Each room includes flat-screen LCD televisions that are HDTV-equipped, DVD players, a state-of-the-art stereo system and iPod adapters.
