Four Cintas Customers Win 2008 Image of the Year Award

NYLO Hotels, Planet Hollywood Casino, Centra Care-Florida Hospital Urgent Care and Silversea’s apparel programs stand out for fashion and function

CHICAGO – [April 7, 2008] – Selected from a list of notable apparel programs, four Cintas customers took home a winning trophy from this year’s Image of the Year (IOY) Award ceremony held on March 29^th at the Gaylord Opryland Hotel in Nashville.  The IOY Awards recognize leaders in the corporate uniform and image apparel industry.

“We were very pleased with the fashion, function and depth to the programs nominated this year,” said Jeff Rundles, Publisher of Corporate Apparel Magazine and judge for the event. “It’s evident the designers closely listened to the needs of each client and developed programs that truly extended each company’s brand.”

In its 30^th year, the IOY Award ceremony is held in conjunction with the National Association of Uniform Manufacturers and Distributors (NAUMD) convention. John Davidson, best known for hosting television shows such as “That’s Incredible!” and “Hollywood Squares,” presented this year’s awards.

Winning the 2008 IOY Award in the hotels category is a great honor,” said Michael Mueller, president of NYLO Hotels. “To develop the concept and styles for our line, NYLO partnered with Daniel Vosovic, an emerging star in the fashion world, and Cintas, an established full service uniform services company. This award is confirmation that we selected a winning combination.”

In the healthcare category, Cintas’ apparel program for Centra Care-Florida Hospital Urgent Care includes apparel for administrative staff, physicians, marketing personnel and nurses. Design elements are incorporated into each piece to complement the rebranding and renovation of their facilities.

Cintas also designs for Silversea, a luxury cruise line, which encompasses a full range of fashions throughout the ship from bellman to sommelier.
