Maxim Prime Restaurant Opens At The Glenn Hotel, Atlanta

Desires Hotels partners with China Grill Management on concept's first location

-- Hotels, 4/29/2008 8:40:00 AM

Maxim Prime, a modern steakhouse developed in partnership with Maxim magazine and restaurateur Jeffrey Chodorow, has opened at The Glenn Hotel in downtown Atlanta. This is the first Maxim Prime restaurant with several more locations planned to open around the country in the coming months.

“Maxim Prime is an intelligent steakhouse for intelligent people, with high quality food and beverage appropriately priced,” says Jeffrey Chodorow. “It includes international influences to match Maxim’s readership profile, while staying a female friendly, sexy yet sophisticated environment.”

Desires Hotels has managed The Glenn, a 110-room modern boutique hotel, since it opened in 2006. Maxim Prime is the second restaurant owned by China Grill Management to operate within a Desires’ Hotel. Social Miami at Sagamore, a restaurant and lounge modeled after a classic European café, is located at The Sagamore Hotel in Miami Beach--also operated by Desires Hotels.

“Jeffrey is a pioneer and we are thrilled to have another opportunity to work with him on this latest venture,” says Raul Leal, president and partner of Tecton Hospitality and Desires Hotels. “The style of Maxim Prime makes it a perfect fit with the contemporary and sophisticated design of The Glenn, so we expect this debut to be an incredible success.”
