Hilton Debuts HHonors Earnings Mall

Hilton Hotels Corp. -- Hotels, 6/10/2008 7:19:00 AM

Just in time for Father’s Day, Hilton HHonors members can earn points when buying a gift for Dad at the newly introduced Hilton HHonors Earnings Mall.  Starting June 10, Hilton HHonors members can use their account number and pin to access the Hilton HHonors Earnings Mall for exclusive offers on thousands of brand-name gifts, fashion accessories, home furnishings, fine food and wine, as well as the latest high-tech gadgets and sports gear for Father’s Day.

The Hilton HHonors Earnings Mall is yet another innovative way Hilton HHonors members can earn points, which can be redeemed for complimentary stays, dining and travel experiences, merchandise and more.  Members can now enjoy the convenience of shopping and earning points, without ever leaving the comfort of their home.  The Mall presents a variety of offers that are updated on a regular basis to give members access to the latest trends and must-have items.  Members can even sign-up for email alerts that notify them when there’s a new product or offer that may be of interest.

Each offer will allow users to earn bonus points for purchases at hundreds of participating retail partners; some featured offers include:

·         Apple iTunes – 3 points per dollar

·         Bloomingdale’s – 2 points per dollar

·         Brookstone – 2 points per dollar + free shipping

·         Gap – 3 points per dollar

·         J. Crew – 3 points per dollar

·         Land’s End – 7 points per dollar + free $10 gift card with purchase over $100

·         Target – Save 10% and Earn 2 points per dollar

“I’m always looking for more ways to earn Hilton HHonors points so I can earn a complimentary hotel stay faster,” said Steve C., a Hilton HHonors member for 12 years.  “With the new Hilton HHonors Earnings Mall, I can shop for items that I would normally buy and earn more points at the same time.”

“The Hilton HHonors Earnings Mall is designed to provide our members with another way to earn rewards quickly and easily,” said Adam Burke, senior vice president of customer loyalty for Hilton Hotels Corporation.  “This initiative, combined with the HHonors Rewards Store, takes online shopping to a whole new level and further demonstrates our commitment to creating a simple, flexible and rewarding program for all our members.”

The Hilton HHonors Earnings Mall includes a rating feature that allows members to share retail offers with other members by selecting a “thumbs up” or “thumbs down.”  Members can also easily check their Mall activity and view the Mall points that they have earned in their personalized Mall account.  Earnings Mall shoppers can maximize their earnings even more by purchasing items in the Mall with their Hilton HHonors co-branded card.
