Cutting-edge interior designer Yasmine Mahmoudieh was hired in March 2007, and by the December delivery date, she created a unique ski resort in Verbier, Switzerland, called Nevai Hotel. Mahmoudieh reworked the floor plan on every level, including the guestrooms, and put in new staircases, created new connections between the ground floor and first floor and relocated public bathrooms. While it is not your typical Alpine retreat, it does relate to the surrounding mountain region. She used curved shapes and abstract nature images while maintaining a contemporary and comfortable aesthetic. The French-inspired Boudoir lounge, with its bright-red curved seating, creates a cozy area that lends itself to intimate conversation.
