SINGAPORE Extended-stay visitors to Grand Copthorne Waterfront Hotel are now greeted to two floors of stylish luxury with La Residenza. The new 24 loft-style one- and two-bedroom units offer sweeping gallery corridors and contemporary earth-toned interiors by Warner Wong Design.
La Residenza showcases a suite-within-a-suite concept, as some units boast balconies with a view of the Singapore River and downtown skyline. Rooms feature hand-tufted custom rugs framed with marble and a visual centerpiece of an illuminated baccut onyx feature columns. The avant-garde design offers functional originality, including custom cabinets the conceal kitchenette and sundry equipment with the illusion of wall paneling. A frosted glass sliding screen separates the living area from the dining room, aiming for a home office feel for guests to live, work and entertain within the same space.
Bedrooms include king beds with timber headboards fixed with extendable reading lights, motorized blinds, flat-screen TVs, computer-equipped workspaces, separate washers and dryers and Corian-top kitchenettes with refrigerators, ovens, induction cookers and a wine fridges. The bathrooms have marble countertops, compressed marble flooring, standing showers, luxurious bathtubs and separate powder rooms for guests. All rooms are outfitted with wi-fi and IP phones equipped with rich-content data including hotel information, weather forecasts and room services applications.
Guests at La Residenza have other luxury amenities within the hotel, including Café Brio’s casual all-day dining and Pontini’s gourmet Italian fare. Additional amenities include a business center, serviced offices, conference facilities and a fitness centre.
Rates at La Residenza start at S$450 (US$328) per night, up to S$13,500 (US$9,837) for a month.
