Women Hold Top Jobs At New NYLO Hotel

From the general manager and director of sales and marketing to the food and beverage director and operations manager, the management team at the new NYLO Providence/Warwick in Rhode Island is composed entirely of women.

”Our hiring culture is one of diversity and inclusion,” says John Russell, CEO, NYLO Hotels. “Having an all-women management team was pure coincidence, [but] we're extremely fortunate to have such a highly experienced and motivated senior staff for the launch of our brand in the Northeast.”

“With their wealth of talent, experience and knowledge of the local market, these women will set the bar for success at each of our future properties,” adds Patrick O'Neil, NYLO's executive vice president of operations.

The property's general manager, Christine Nevers (at left), is a Warwick resident and was previously GM and director of sales for The Hotel Providence in Providence, Rhode Island. Prior to that, Nevers was director of revenue management at another area hotel.

Sales and Marketing Director Mari Palace, another Warwick resident, also has general manager experience, previously serving as GM at the Courtyard by Marriott in Warwick.
