Managing Director Is Third Generation Of Winterhalters To Run Company

MECKENBEUREN, GERMANY— Ralph Winterhalter is the new managing director of Winterhalter Gastronom GmbH, the commercial dishwashing systems manufacturer. The company leads in developing resource-saving technologies, and Ralph is the third generation of Winterhalters to join the management team.

Winterhalter is and independent, family-run business with production plants in Germany and

Switzerland. At present, 1,000 employees, 22 foreign subsidiaries and more than 50 general agencies are supplying Winterhalter commercial dishwashing systems all over the world, with exports accounting for around 70% of production.

After studying business administration with a focus on international marketing, the 33-year-old Ralph spent several years gathering experience abroad at Winterhalter’s UK subsidiary. During this time, he was responsible for projects in marketing, sales and key accounts. More recently, his responsibilities have included being deputy managing director in the headquarters and the Swiss plant in Rüthi, as well as managing independent projects at company headquarters in Meckenbeuren.
