FORT WORTH, TEXAS—Market Street The Woodlands, a mixed-use destination town center combining retail and office space just north of Houston, will soon welcome boutique hotel Avia The Woodlands.

The 70-room hotel, from Kansas-based LodgeWorks LP, is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009. Guestroom amenities will include walk-in showers, a gourmet refreshment bar featuring Dean and Deluca items, and complimentary Wi-Fi. Signature services for Avia guests include a wine bar, a tasting kitchen and outdoor living space with seating nooks and cabanas. In addition, Trademark Property Co. will add an additional 24,000 sq. ft. (2,230 sq. m) of new retail space at ground level.
