Monte-Carlo SBM Expanding In Marrakech

-- Hotels, 12/2/2008 7:54:00 AM

For its first project abroad, the Monegasque group has chosen a flagship destination, popular amongst its traditional clientele: Marrakech.

Monte-Carlo S.B.M. is proud to announce the opening in Marrakech of JAWHAR MARRAKECH in 2010. Jawhar means jewel, a name chosen because it resembles this dazzling 8-hectare property with views of the Atlas Mountains and the hundred-year-old olive groves of Menara.

Just a few minutes from the centre of the Marrakech medina, the Jawhar Marrakech will offer its clientele more than 80 bedrooms (75m²) and suites, in addition to spacious villas. Its Business Centre will provide everything needed to organise banquets, conventions and events. Its library, home cinema and Arts Centre will prove that wherever Monte-Carlo is present, its traditional passion for culture is present too. Chic or informal, several restaurants boast diverse and refined ambiances.

Around the hotel, landscaped gardens and green areas are the setting for a three-in-one pool offering three different temperatures. A renowned specialist of well-being, Monte-Carlo S.B.M. will install the following in its new gem: A spa (3.500m2) with an indoor pool, fitness trail, sports club, tennis courts, cardio-training and gymnastics rooms. An Espace Détente (relaxation area), boutique and hairdressing salons will complete these fabulous services.

As with all Monte-Carlo S.B.M. enterprises, this project has been developed around five basic values: Excellence, generosity, audacity, inventiveness and passion. Ever loyal to the spirit of its Monegasque elders, the Jawhar Marrakech will reserve a VIP welcome for each of its guests. They will experience the Monte-Carlo S.B.M. lifestyle in the very heart of Morocco, savouring the same alchemy between its myriad talents: Flawless service, simplicity, absolute perfectionism and professionalism.

At the dawn of the 21st century, the Monte-Carlo S.B.M. resort is taking the marvellous opportunity to grow for the future by deciding to export its heritage to faraway and prestigious destinations. Thus, with forthright optimism, it declares its intention to take on the role of ambassador in matters of luxury, glamour and sophistication, to be the bearer of an extraordinary history. An ambition whose legitimacy comes from the bedrock of the legend of Monte-Carlo, the eternal symbol of success and the favourite venue for world’s A-Listers.

Much more than simply securing the loyalty of its clients, Monte-Carlo S.B.M. has built up a relationship of mutual attachment and is careful to keep up with trends and epochs. Whether in Monaco or abroad, being a guest of Monte-Carlo S.B.M. is synonymous with wonderful moments turning into absolutely unique instants, continually discovering, being enchanted, blossoming and fulfilled.
