Interval Affiliates Slovakia's First Timeshare

12 September, 2008, – Interval International, a leading provider of vacation services, has announced the affiliation of Greenhill Skiing & Wellness Club, the first timeshare resort in Slovakia.

“While this is the first resort in Slovakia, this is the fifth affiliation in Eastern Europe in the past 12 months and is a further example of our continued success in the region,” says Darren Ettridge, Interval International’s vice president resort sales and service (Europe). “Timeshare is proving to be a popular concept in central and Eastern Europe and this is evidenced by the growth in the number of resorts.”

Located in the popular Slovakian vacation destination of Donovaly, the stylish new timeshare resort with spa facilities is scheduled to open in December 2009. The resort is being developed by Greenhill Investment, a Slovakian development company and will have 40 timeshare apartments on completion.

Donovaly is a part of Low Tatras National Park, and is one of the biggest ski resorts in Slovakia. It is also renowned for its annual dogsled racing championships.
