Global Hyatt Corporation begins 2008 with aggressive growth pace

Hyatt Has More Than 60 Full-Service Hotels in the Pipeline Dubai, United Arab Emirates, 8 May 2008 - On the heels of the recent announcement of its new luxury brand, Andaz, and reaching the 100-hotel milestone of Hyatt Place hotels in the United States, one of the worlds leading hospitality companies, continues its global development pace at an unprecedented speed. With more than 50 full service hotels in the pipeline, Hyatt has announced 14 hotels under development in greater China alone, as well as five hotels in Russia/CIS with other high-profile properties to open in Europe, Middle East, and The Americas. Global projects recently opened or underway include: EUROPE AND MIDDLE EAST Hyatt Regency Kiev (234 Rooms, Opened July 2007) - Sleek and stylish, Hyatt Regency Kiev opened with 234 generously sized deluxe rooms, including 25 suites. Rooms are geared towards the comfort and needs of the global business traveler with high-tech communications and ergonomic working areas. Luxurious bathrooms with under floor heating, deep-soaking baths and exceptional rain showers set the scene for a unique in-room experience.

Andaz Liverpool Street (267 Rooms, Opened November 2007) - The first in a series to launch globally under the new Andaz brand, the Liverpool Street property is a lynch pin between corporate and creative East London. Offering an eclectic array of activities, the hotel develops and integrates cultural and design indigenous accents such as bespoke monthly East End Contemporary Art tours, iPods on loan with play lists by neighborhood characters and personalities, an art collection in the guest corridors by local up-and-coming artists, as well as five dining concepts on property. Park Hyatt Istanbul - Maka Palas (90 Rooms, Third Quarter 2008) - Located in the chic Nisantasi residential and shopping district, Park Hyatt Istanbul Maka Palas will be housed in the restored art deco palace, originally built in 1922. Under the design direction of New York based Gerner Kronick + Valcarcel, the refurbished hotel will house 90 generously sized deluxe rooms, a number of exclusive suites, a spa, and specialty designer stores. Grand Hyatt Doha (248 Rooms, Fourth Quarter 2008) - With a blend of ancient and modern architecture, Grand Hyatt Doha will include 268 rooms, a 16,000 square foot ballroom, private beach, spa and health club and a variety of restaurants and retail shops. Hyatt Regency Dushanbe (220 Rooms, Third Quarter 2008) - Located in the city center on the grounds of City Park and adjacent to Lake Komsomol, Hyatt Regency Dushanbe will be designed by the award-winning architectural firm NBBJ. The hotel will reflect the citys flavor in the design of the 240 rooms and suites, as well as feature a variety of food and beverage outlets, including two restaurants, a lobby lounge and a nightclub. Other facilities will include an extensive spa, health and fitness center, and pool. Hyatt Regency Ekaterinburg (301 Rooms, Third Quarter 2008) - Located in the city center on the bank of the River Iset, Hyatt Regency Yekaterinburg will be designed by renowned Parisian architects Valode & Pistre. In keeping with the Hyatt Regency concept, the hotel will reflect the citys flavor in the design of its 300 rooms and suites. Park Hyatt Jeddah a Spa and Conference Resort at the Equestrian Club (142 Rooms, Fourth Quarter 2008) - A part of a resort complex featuring a marina, large convention and banqueting venue, and spa and health club, Park Hyatt Jeddah will be the first luxury hotel in Saudi Arabia offering unrestricted access to the seafront. Park Hyatt Casares (168 Rooms, Second Quarter 2009) - Ideally located in the south of the renowned resort destination on Spains Costa del Sol, Park Hyatt Casares will feature luxurious rooms, offering either deep balconies or expansive terraces, all boasting breathtaking views of the Caseres Beach and the Mediterranean Sea. Guests will enjoy additional amenities, including an all day dining restaurant and bar and lobby lounge, 15,000 square foot spa with signature treatments, outdoor pool and 18-hole golf course. Grand Hyatt Moscow (362 Rooms, Second Quarter 2010) - A part of the spectacular new downtown that will also be a home to the citys government, Grand Hyatt Moscow will be housed in a 94-story building situated just 2.5 miles northwest of the Kremlin on the Krasnopresnenskaya Embankment. The hotel will also feature a Sky Lobby on the 92nd floor, spa on the 60th floor, restaurants on the 91st and 93rd floors, as well as serviced apartments and office space. Grand Hyatt Moscow will be Europes tallest hotel. Grand Hyatt Beirut (348 Rooms, Second Quarter 2010) - Centrally located in Beiruts prime business district, the sleek and stylish Grand Hyatt Beirut will offer generously sized deluxe rooms geared toward the needs of the global business traveler. Guests will choose between a variety of restaurants and bars, which will include al fresco dining at the poolside restaurant. Other amenities featured will be conference facilities, a business center, outdoor pool, fitness center and spa. Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf (286 Rooms, Fourth Quarter 2010) - Modern in design, Hyatt Regency Dusseldorf is scheduled to open in the Dusseldorf MedienHafen an emerging business district on the bank of the Rhine River. Located in one of two twin towers at the foremost tip of a peninsula, a graceful pedestrian bridge will link the 16-story hotel to the lively neighborhood on the opposite side of the harbor. Facilities at the hotel will include multiple restaurants and bars, as well as a health club, spa and swimming pool. Additional projects in Europe and the Middle East include: Hyatt Regency Riga (160 Rooms, Second Quarter 2010) Hyatt Regency Minsk (270 Rooms, First Quarter 2010) Hyatt Regency Lisbon (88 Rooms, Third Quarter 2010) Park Hyatt Tbilisi (182 Rooms, Second Quarter 2010) Hyatt at Capital Centre (200 Rooms, Fourth Quarter 2009) Grand Hyatt Frankfurt (405 Rooms, 2012) ASIA PACIFIC Hyatt on the Bund, Shanghai (631 Rooms, Opened June 2007) - Located on the northern end of the legendary Bund, arguably the most famous thoroughfare in Shanghai, Hyatt on the Bund, Hyatts second hotel in Shanghai, has been built and angled so that all rooms will benefit from a spectacular view of either the historical architecture down the Bund or modern skyscraper-lined Pudong across the river, maximizing its prime location on the western banks of the Huangpu River. The property features extensive meeting and banquet facilities, six restaurants and bars, a fitness center, a swimming pool and spa. With the 2008 opening of Park Hyatt Shanghai, Hyatt will have three hotels in Shanghai. Hyatt Regency Jing Jin City Resort and Spa, Tianjin (837 Rooms, Opened October 2007) - Located in Baodi, a hot spring resort 43 miles southeast of Beijing and 43 miles north of Tianjin, Hyatt Regency Jing Jin City Resort and Spa is a mixed-use real estate development. Featuring a luxurious conference hotel set on 40 square miles, the property resembles an ancient, mythical royal palace surrounded by a labyrinth of pathways, archways and waterways and features lush gardens and natural geothermal hot springs. Park Hyatt Beijing (237 Rooms, Third Quarter 2008) - Just in time for the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the newest addition to the Park Hyatt brand will be Park Hyatt Beijing. The property will occupy the top floors of the dramatic 63-story building of Beijing Yintai Centre, located in the heart of Beijings Central Business District. Upon completion, Beijing Yintai Centre will become the tallest building on Changan Avenue, Beijings main east-west thoroughfare. The complex will include two office towers; luxurious Park Hyatt Residences and Penthouses; and Park Life, a lifestyle environment and retail center. The hotel will offer two restaurants, a lounge and bar and superb luxury facilities, including: a fitness center, spa, indoor swimming pool and meeting and banquet facilities. Grand Hyatt Guangzhou (376 Rooms, Second Quarter, 2008) - Located within the citys new Central Business District of Tianhe and near the International Exhibition Center, Grand Hyatt Guangzhou will be part of a multi-purpose complex also featuring office space and retail outlets. In addition, the hotel will offer five restaurants and bars, a grand ballroom, a spa and fitness center and indoor swimming pool. Park Hyatt Shanghai (174 Rooms, Third Quarter 2008) Featuring design akin to a sophisticated modern Chinese residence, Park Hyatt Shanghai will occupy the 79th to 93rd floors of the Shanghai World Financial Center (SWFC), otherwise known as The Vertical Complex City. This luxury hotel, designed by Tony Chi, will be situated in the heart of the Lujiazui business district in Pudong, and with its 101floors, it will make Park Hyatt Shanghai the highest hotel in the world. All guestrooms will have stunning city views and feature facilities to include a spa, restaurants and bars and meeting rooms. The hotel will be situated adjacent to Grand Hyatt Shanghai, which is currently the tallest hotel in the world. Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort and Spa (228 Rooms, Second Quarter 2009) - A two hour drive from Shanghai, Park Hyatt Ningbo Resort & Spa will be located on Dongqian Lake, one of the most scenic destinations in eastern China. The property will be constructed in low-rise buildings, featuring private villas with a spa, recreational facilities, meeting and banquet space and specialty restaurants. Grand Hyatt Shenzhen (400 Rooms, Fourth Quarter 2009) - A part of City Crossing, one of the citys most exciting commercial developments, Grand Hyatt Shenzhen will offer guests extensive meeting and business facilities, spa and recreational center, as well as a variety of restaurants and bars. The hotel, along with Grand Hyatt Guangzhou, will join the regional network of distinct Grand Hyatt hotels that include award-winning properties in gateway cities including Beijing, Shanghai, Hong Kong and Taipei. Grand Hyatt Macau, (771 Rooms, Fourth Quarter 2009) - Designed by Arquitectonica, Grand Hyatt Macau will be a part of the City of Dreams, a multi-purpose development located in Cotai, Macau. The property will offer guests a luxurious spa, and extensive meeting and banquet facilities. Its interior will combine luxurious dcor and design, as well as accommodate a wide-range of event set ups. Park Hyatt Koh Samui (120 Rooms, Fourth Quarter 2009) - Situated at the exclusive Thai resort on Thong Krut Bay, along Koh Samuis southern shoreline Park Hyatt Koh Samui will comprise 90 luxurious hotel villas and a further 24 residential villas. The hilltop setting of the hotel offers guests spectacular views over the Gulf of Thailand and the surrounding coastline, with fishing villages, coconut farms and palm beaches. Hyatt Regency Danang Resort and Spa, (258 Rooms, Second Quarter 2010) - Located in the south central coast in Vietnam, the resort will offer a variety of guest accommodation including 258 guestrooms, 148 condominiums and 30 two storey villas. The hotel will feature a variety of international dining outlets, spa and wellness facilities offering traditional and innovative therapies and grooming treatments, dedicated meeting and event services and extensive family-friendly leisure facilities.
