Palomar Project On Hold
The gist of my October special report on vacation ownership is that, while development is definitely slowing down, good projects in A-plus destinations are still getting built.
Sad to say, but news out of my one-time hometown of Milwaukee indicates that that market hasn't quite reached A-plus status. Looks like Gatehouse Capital Corp.'s plans for a Hotel Palomar condo-hotel has been delayed indefinitely due to the crumbling credit markets.
The Milwaukee Journal Sentinel article notes that a planned Hyatt Place and Hyatt Summerfield Suites project is also way behind schedule.
