5/9/2008 - The St. Regis Shanghai appoints Amanda Elder as general manager. Elder was previously regional director of sales and marketing, Pacific, for Starwood Asia Pacific Hotels & Resorts.

5/7/2008 - Hilton Hotels names Mario Ferraro general manager of the Hilton Molino Stucky Venice. Ferraro has managed a number of Italy’s leading hotels, including the Grand Hotel Santa Lucia and the San Domenico Palace in Sicily.
