2008 Independent Hotelier of the World - Kurt Wachtveitl

Growing up hearing stories of aristocrats and palaces, Kurt Wachtveitl garnered an early desire for travel and the hotel industry. Now, after 40 years as general manager of the Mandarin Oriental in Bangkok, Wachtveitl was chosen as the 2008 Independent Hotelier of the World.
