Hyatt Place launches kitschy ad campaign

Hyatt Place has launched a new marketing campaign “You’ll Know It’s Right When You See It,” designed to showcase the brand’s key features, guest experiences and continued growing distribution. As of September 30, Hyatt Place had 182 properties in operation.

The new creative  – running across digital, mobile, online radio and social channels – features a Swedish, blond-haired character called Gold E. Lahks, modernly modeled after the beloved children’s story of Goldilocks and her search for the right fit. Mr. Lahks searches far and wide and lands upon Hyatt Place, finding it meets all of his needs.

A spokesperson for Hyatt said the campaign was inspired by the feeling that Hyatt Place gets it right for today’s multitasking business travelers – both in overall experience and practical amenities such as free W-Fi, a complimentary breakfast and a 24/7 menu of entrees and appetizers.

As part of the campaign, Hyatt will also bring to market an “expert panel that helps consumers travel ‘just right’ in any situation.”
