Invesco buys two in Italy: Invesco Real Estate signed two forward purchase hotel deals in Florence and Milan, Italy, for a total investment of about €160 million (US$180.6 million). In Florence, a 172-room 25Hours hotel will open in the second half of next year; the seller was Art-Invest Real Estate. In Milan, a new, 185-room NH Collection hotel will open in late 2021 in the city’s CityLife neighborhood; the seller was not named.
Minor to update loyalty program: Bangkok-based Minor Hotels, is planning to transition the NH Rewards program after its acquisition of Spain’s NH Hotels. Minor’s Anantara and Avani brands are members of the Global Hotel Alliance (GHA). The intention is for NH members to transition into the new program by becoming members of GHA Discovery. The new program’s name will be announced later this year and the program will debut in the first half of 2020.

Radisson signs three in Madagascar: Radisson Hotel Group signed an agreement to manage a portfolio of three hotels with Talys Madagascar Group for a total of 254 rooms. Two of the hotels are conversions and one is under construction; all are scheduled to open next year.
