Sorenson, crisis lessons and resets: Top 5 for April

HOTELS top stories for April mostly circled around a single topic – with one big exception. Our top story for the month was Editor in Chief Jeff Weinstein’s interview with Marriott International CEO Arne Sorenson. Jeff conducted the interview in early February, before the COVID-19 storm had swept through Europe and the United States (the interview is also the cover story of HOTELS April issue).

The interview shows Sorenson at his best: helming the largest hotel company in the world with thoughtfulness, curiosity and his unique brand of leadership.

Rounding out the top five: Insights from leading hoteliers on what a “reset” means for the industry; and interviews with Minor International’s Bill Heinecke, The Lowell’s Heiko Kuenstle and Mandarin Oriental’s Amanda Hyndman.

HOTELS interview with Arne Sorenson was the most-read story for the month of April.
