For most of us, wearing a face mask when we go just about anywhere is de rigueur (I even gave a fancy leopard-print one as a birthday gift a couple of days ago), but many of us also know some who balk at it, for all sorts of reasons. That’s where Andria Lure Ryan comes in.
Ryan, a partner in Atlanta, Georgia, at law firm Fisher Phillips and co-chair of its Hospitality Industry Practice Group, wrote HOTELS most-read story in August, with her five-step plan for dealing with hotel guests who fall into the latter category – hospitably, of course.
What else landed in our top five? In the don’t-be-that-person department, Metis’ David Richey writes about the trickle-down effect of a hotel manager’s bad decision; a Singapore company biding its time with a boutique approach; Mary Gostelow’s interview with a hotelier in the Netherlands who is leveraging the locals; and a panel discussion on the future of tourism and tourists from a virtual Virtuoso.
