Four Seasons in Beverly Hills creates Wellness Floor

In a very timely response, the Four Seasons Hotel Los Angeles at Beverly Hills, California, has transformed its entire fourth floor into a Wellness Floor, with 14 rooms and suites, private fitness suite and a Well office. These are all located on the same floor as the spa, Cabana restaurant with plant-based options, the pool deck and the main fitness center.

Additionally, the hotel has converted one of its traditional, lobby-level meeting and event paces into a wellness-focused event space. Pricing for hotel guests is complimentary when booking a Wellness Suite or room and US$75 for guests from other hotels.

These wellness rooms include air purification systems, energizing light to help regulate circadian rhythms, water de-chlorinators and purification systems, hypoallergenic wood floors and sound machines. The Wellness Rooms also provide guided meditations narrated by alternative medicine guru Deepak Chopra, sulfate-free bath amenities, and in-room fitness and Alo Yoga equipment.

The Private Fitness Suite includes a two-hour reserved time slot for up to three guests per party. Guests can access all the room features, including a treadmill, hydrow rowing machine, Peloton bike, in-room yoga equipment by Alo Yoga, Soul Cycle bike, medicine ball and weights. The suites also have a private bathroom and shower.

The Well Office boasts hypoallergenic wood floors and an air purification system. The space has been outfitted with an adjustable height conference table and standing desk tools, seated as well as hybrid options. The office also has an individual standing desk with a lamp and a large-screen television for presentations and video conferencing.

Apart from the wellness floor, the hotel has also converted the former Palm Room and Courtyard into a wellness meeting and event space featuring the same amenities.

“It is important for our property to continue to create innovative, wellness-based initiatives across each aspect of the guest experience, allowing guests to sustainably maintain their healthy lifestyles while traveling,” said Michael Newcombe, general manager and vice president, spa and wellness.
