Is housekeeping opt-out here to stay?

We all know that labor is still perhaps the top issue for hotels, and this won’t change anytime soon. One area where hotels are saving is in cutting down on stayover cleans. While the argument can be made that this reduces service quality, barring hotels in the luxury segment, we see this trend as persisting long after the pandemic is in the rearview mirror.
