Marriott requiring face covering in public spaces

Following American Hotel & Lodging Association’s “Safe Stay Guest Checklist” announcement last week, Marriott International said on Monday that it will require all guests to wear a face covering in its hotels’ public spaces effective July 27, no matter the jurisdiction. In a video released on Monday, Marriott International CEO Arne Sorenson said that wearing face coverings is one of the easiest steps to protect one another and reduce the spread of COVID-19.
