Innside by Meliá has opened a location in Hamburg’s Hammerbrook district. The canal-side Innside Hamburg Hafen, part of Meliá Hotels International’s urban lifestyle brand, is a short walk from the city center.
Its public spaces and 207 guest rooms employ a modern design with a monochrome white, black and silver palette and wooden floors.
The lobby, called the Open Living Lounge, employs furniture to create communal, multifunctional shared spaces for working or socializing. The lobby has replaced the reception desk with a digital check-in/check-out machine, a merchandising corner and a communal table.
Nearby is the Werft bar and restaurant area with a large waterfront deck overlooking the Mittelkanal channel. Werft offers a casual ambiance, a tech communications hub and crossover cuisine such as grilled dishes, shareable plates and cocktails.
The hotel also has a gym with a sauna and massage area, and two conference and event room that are joinable. The “Big Idea Space” conference room is designed to be cozy and inspire creativity. The space is furnished with sofas and armchairs, table tennis, stools and bistro tables, and can accommodate up to 20 people. Guests can write on the walls and use an LCD projector and 80-inch monitors.
Rooms and lifestyle suites offer king- or queen-size beds, desks including a media hub and high-speed Internet access, as well as open-plan bathrooms with a rain shower.
