For Niki Leondakis, CEO of Commune Hotels & Resorts, fostering a strong company culture is a particular passion. She has used a number of tools in working toward that goal, but when it comes to summing up the Commune culture, a fairly basic idea is at the core.
“Our service culture is all about employees being able to be themselves and make another human being’s day while they’re staying in our hotels,” Leondakis says.
As part of a culture roundtable at Virgin Hotel Chicago presented by HOTELS and the Wall Street Journal, Leondakis shared insights about how she personally lives the Commune culture and how she expects it to evolve in the future.
