Bill DeForrest, president and CEO of Spire Hospitality, understands how challenging hotel jobs can be, which is part of the reason he cites mutual respect and collaboration on shared success as linchpins of Spire’s culture.
“Our culture is really all about trust and collaboration — everybody working together towards the same goal, everybody working together towards shared success,” DeForrest explains.
As part of a culture roundtable at Virgin Hotel Chicago presented by HOTELS and the Wall Street Journal, DeForrest offered insights about how he practices Spire’s culture in his day-to-day work and where he hopes to lead the culture next.
