In honor of the 80th anniversary of the repeal of Prohibition in the United States, the Gerber Group is rolling out a “Cartender” at Viceroy New York.
The Cartender is a vintage bar cart filled with a rotating selection of complimentary cocktails available to guests and other visitors daily from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The cocktails, also available at Kingside in the hotel’s lobby, are all original recipes created by Andres Santillana, head mixologist for the Gerber Group. Cocktails are limited to two per person.
The drinks include the Spicy Paloma with Casamigos Blanco tequila, Thai Chile Aperol and grapefruit soda; Aviation with Plymouth gin, maraschino liqueur, crème de violette and fresh lemon juice; the Midnight Tryst with Bombay Sapphire gin, vanilla, blackberries and lemon; and Walter + Savannah with Woodford Reserve bourbon, walnut syrup, peach and lemon.
